Canadian Political Blogs: A Brief Survey (To be continued)

This post is aimed to provide a brief sketch of Canadian political blogs. These blogs are excellent resources for upper level literacy learners seeking topics for essays. Reviewing how other bloggers express their arguments in writing  to persuade others is crucial to offer some useful examples that students can then build on.

One of the most important blog portals for Canadian political blogs is http://www.bloggingcanadians.ca/ which is a portal for Canadian MPs’ blogs. I like the site for its presentation of the different parties’ positions. It is a bit difficult searching for specific posts for essay topics. However, it provides an archive of opinions on different issues and commentary on Canadian current events.
